Poplar In-stock Stair Tread Details

The Hardwood Lumber Company now offers a few select wood species stair treads and risers that are in stock and ready to ship. 

All of our in-stock stair treads are unfinished and have a bullnose edge (also called half-rounds). Nosing is added on to the edge of each step as a safety feature, increasing the amount of space you have to step on as you climb the staircase.

Poplar is a beautiful lightweight hardwood that paints and stains well. Our clear poplar stair treads will add a bright, rustic feeling to your home.
